Use Case

Fortune 500 Insurance Company Calculates Risk Using Condor and CycleServer

When a large insurance company was attempting to manage the distribution of calculations across thousands of CPUs, they were looking to decrease costs and improve functionality over proprietary schedulers. They chose open-source Condor to save costs, manage resource allocation to internal users, and enable redundant, fault tolerant scheduling of their jobs. Using our CycleServer Condor management tool, they can reconfigure machines easily, track and visualize usage statistics, monitor and administrate Condor, and manage large job submissions.  Using CycleServer and Condor, they save an estimated $750 per core over proprietary solutions.
